Thanks to your trust and support, we reached some beautiful milestones— we've hit full capacity on a number of days in 2025, we are growing our internal team, and continuing to build this small, woman-owned business with our amazing local dog lovers. Every visit you make supports our love for dogs and the care we’re honored to provide.


As we step into the new year, we want to share our sincere gratitude. Running this business is a privilege we don’t take for granted, and it’s only possible because of clients like you. ❤️

MOVING IN TO THE NEW YEAR!

To continue offering the exceptional care your pups deserve, we’ll be updating a few policies and making a small annual price adjustment. This helps us keep up with rising costs like rent increases, supply costs, and inflation, and—most importantly—sustain the comprehensive benefits we provide our team, including health insurance, paid time off, and more. These benefits ensure our team stays happy, healthy, and empowered to care for your beloved dogs.

GENERAL UPDATES 2026


  • CHEEKY CHICKEN: We are discontinuing our home cooked Cheeky Chicken as a meal replacement/mixer and now offering freshly cooked Portland Pet Food Pouches ($9) in 3 flavors (Turkey, Chicken, Salmon) as well as Holi freeze dried protein options of chicken, elk/venison, or salmon ($2 per spoonful) to mix in with your dog's food. These are great for days your pup isn't eating or if they are boarding and homesick.

  • SNUFFLE MATS: We've added snuffle mats as a hybrid activity and treat session. A fun way for your pup to sniff out and find treats and a great enrichment activity! Check it out on our instagram.

  • RESERVATIONS: Don't forget to book your reservations in advance - especially daycare to ensure you get the dates you need! We recommend booking daycare reservations at least 1-2 weeks ahead where possible.

  • DAYCARE PACKAGES: We require that any dog who attends daycare is in a package with us to ensure regular visits. This promotes the wellness of the pack by creating a community of dogs and consistency for them. Any dog who we haven't seen in daycare for more than 2 months requires a new interview to determine if they are still a good fit and enjoying their time with us.

  • HOTEL STAYS: Please only drop your dog off with labeled food and medicines. Due to the open boarding nature of our space - personal belongings can get lost/damaged. Additionally, we are a small building/city based facility & because of limited space - we unfortunately do not have room for storing items such as carriers/backpacks/dog car seats for our 30-60 clients daily. Please plan accordingly for boarding drop offs and help us by only leaving us with your pet's food, medicines, coats/leashes/harnesses. Thank you.


  • DAYCARE PACKAGE CHANGE REQUESTS & COMMUNICATIONS: A friendly reminder that requests for daycare package changes must be put in writing via email 7+ days before your next billing cycle to avoid charges and so we do not have to process refunds. If you miss the cutoff date in writing we cannot refund your package. Please email us at humans@sitsocial.com to request package changes. Please do not verbally ask our team to change packages at pickups/dropoffs as this information may get lost in the bustle of the work day - please email us so we have record in writing and can follow up to ensure you are not charged/your package is changed. Every client receives reminders of packages expiring and credits remaining - please search your inbox for communications from our software system Gingr and add to contacts to avoid missing important messages. Thank you!


  • ADD ON SERVICES: Don't forget we offer a variety of wonderful add ons for your pup to enjoy during their daycare and boarding with us such as walks to ease anxiety, treats to spoil them, and more - these can be selected at the time of booking from the drop down menus to enhance their time with us.

DOG HOTEL


  • $99 Standard Crated (Crating will now be upstairs in the loft)

  • $115 Deluxe Calm Room Shared Suite

  • $135 Premium Crate Free Dog Hotel




DOG DAYCARE PACKAGES


All daycare clients are required to be in a package to maintain daycare services with us. If you pause or stop service for longer than 1 month, unfortunately, you may lose your spot on the roster for daycare and be moved to a package client waitlist since we will be reaching full capacity in 2026.

  • Portland Pet Food Fresh Cooked Meal Pouch - Chicken & Yams, Turkey & Yams, or Salmon & Rice ($9 Per Pouch) 1 Pouch can typically create 1 to 3 meals or mixers depending on your dog's size.

FEES

  • Daycare Less than 24 hrs reservation request $15

  • Late Pickup $25/hour

  • Interview Visit: Behavioral Assessment, 4 hours of Daycare, New Client Setup fee $100 for first visit


SERVICE CHARGE


We add a 6.5% service charge to every bill to cover our team's health & disability insurance, retirement, as well as physical and mental health wellness benefits. You will see this charge on your invoices as "tax" but that is only because our software system/booking portal Gingr doesn't allow us to name it something else. It is in fact, a service charge. Thank you for supporting the team who provides loving care to your beloved family members.


BOARDING STAY BILLING - 2 BILLS EVERY TIME


Boarding stays incur two total charges for every stay - the first charge is your initial deposit - and the second charge is your final bill portion at pickup for the service charge/holiday peak rate fees/or any add ons or changes that occurred as part of your stay. You can view all invoices in your customer portal at any time for a breakdown of charges.


PEAK RATES


A friendly reminder that for all major holidays and the weeks and weekends that either precede or follow them - we charge peak rates - similar to airlines/hotels during peak dates. An additional $30 per day will be on your final bill for any dates that fall on our holiday weeks/weekends. The peak fees will not be collected on your initial deposit, and will be paid upon pickup.


You can generate an estimate in the portal for a better idea of your final bill - unfortunately, while our software does so many wonderful things for us - this is another software limitation that doesn't allow us to collect the service charges and peak fees up front at the time of booking for hotel stays. We are currently looking into other softwares as a possibility for 2027. In order for us to switch softwares, it would require a large learning curve for the team and migration of all clients to switch away from the one we've used the past decade (Gingr). We are actively exploring possibilities to avoid billing errors and confusion that can occur from these software limitations to see if a better option is out there for us.
